Alpha Clad’s profiled metal lining panel portfolio (or lining trays as they are sometimes
known) has been specifically developed to offer cover width compatibility with our
external sheet range, thus allowing modular integration with translucent rooflights.
To ensure a bright, light reflective surface, our standard stock finish is Bright White Lining Enamel. Other coating
options can be made available but may be subject to minimum order quantity and/or extended lead times.
A selection of our solid profile options are shown below:
Experience within the industry shows that 0.40mm thick steel is suitable for wall lining. However, whilst roof lining
can also be undertaken in this gauge the product thickness may need to be increased to 0.70mm for structural/
walkable reasons. Alpha Clad offer a 32mm deep, 0.70mm thick option to help meet these requirements when
necessary.
All sections are available curved, achieve a Class ‘0’ spread of flame rating, provide side lap details that can be
easily sealed to form a vapour check and are purpose designed be integrated into our numerous built up system
options.
The profiles illustrated should be installed outside rail with the broad pan facing innermost, thus giving a smooth,
flush appearance. However, if necessary these sections can be installed inside rail with the profile reversed. This
conceals the steelwork and creates a more pronounced surface due to the narrow rib.
Whilst not shown within this site, Alpha Clad’s portfolio also includes purpose designed acoustically perforated lining
panels, allowing sound to travel through a percentage of the product’s normally reflective surface.
